AA meetings belongs in meetings not on social media

There are many groups now on Facebook and other social media. These groups are all meant to be just discussion and to help other people. We got Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. We go Overeaters Anonymous meetings. We got sex addict Anonymous meetings. I hate to tell you all that if you’re on Facebook you have no anonymity. For one,  it displays your last name. For two ,you don’t really know who you are talking to. There are  preditors on  those sites looking for easy targets. People go on those discussion panels purposely just to start fights. I have noticed half the time they are people that aren’t even sober at all. Yeah they keep talking about how they need to get past step one. You need to go to a meeting. Don’t tell me you can’t find a way. I got rides from so many different people when I first joined anonymous group.I Did not join anonymous groups  on social media. You can join discussion groups about it on social media but be wary half the people on there are not who they say they are. The best way to check is to Simply look at their profile. I always do and you can learn a lot just by a person’s profile. One man who kept arguing with me about sobriety and claiming to be more sober than I, always picks a fight with me. And I’m just going to say that he is always wrong. So I checked out his profile and he is indeed a very well-educated well-read extremely good job he retired from here…but here  is the kicker, he has over 4,000 friends and he’s supposedly a 62 year old man. Do you have over 5000 friends? I am very leery of people like this. I belong to a secret group that is just ladies who discuss and talk about their problems and try to help each other. This group is absolutely wonderful. It was invented by women on Facebook. I have heard people say in my other discussion group that people should go to a meeting online and that Facebook has them. Never do this!our  first tradition states that you will not speak for this group or advertise it in the media, radio, or television. No these Traditions were made before social media definition isn’t social media media? I think I might leave this discussion group because it is full of negativity and upsets me. And you will know I do not believe in letting negativity into my life. And you should not either. Facebook is awesome. I have friends all over the world because of my blog and Facebook. But we must be careful. If we are not careful how can we expect our children to be careful? I just think if you really need help, you need to seek out real life human beings for help. Because unless you know the person personally they are not real human beings. You don’t know their real age. You don’t know if they want something from you. You don’t even know if they have a drinking or eating or sex problem! Everyone just be careful and if something is terribly upsetting you as I got upset this morning you know the best thing to do? Get off Facebook for a little while. If you have to, leave the group. If you absolutely must block someone, block them. And certainly don’t trust a man who claims to be 62 with over 4,000 friends on Facebook. Can you say creepy?

Stem cell update at 3 months

My immune system is now 2 months old. I am still too young to have my vaccines like my measles-mumps-rubella and chickenpox. I am however noticing a lot of increased strength. Although it is difficult to tell because I perpetually have a cold. Like most two months old I am always sick. I have to go back all the antibodies I have grown up to have in my system in the past 36 years. Right now I have runny eyes, runny nose, ears that pop, but no fever. They said all that matters is that you don’t get a fever. My bladder is working pretty good. My bowels still are not working properly but I’m still hoping it’s only been 2 months. I have to be patient. My hair has started to grow back. But I usually wear a wig or a hat. My doctor ordered a new medication that is supposed to relieve bowel problems for people that take opiates. It did not work. So unfortunately my bowel problems are multiple sclerosis. And not related to the opiates I take for pain. Otherwise I’m in good spirits as I just still wait for my immune system to grow. I am past due on getting my retax infusion. I really need it right now. My husband does not find a way to get it in New York by the end of the week I am going back to Mexico. So that’s my update I hope you all stay healthy and happy. Stem cells are working as they grow but I do need to get those five more infusions. I believe the company is going to pay for it as long as Pennsylvania will accept that as payment and give me the infusions. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me that they will.

The three questions

There are three questions in life that everyone has asked themselves throughout their life. If not once, many more times then that.

1. Is there a God? The answer of course is different for everyone. Yes I believe in a higher power. I choose to refer to this higher power as God. But I view  God and nature as the same thing. Some people are agnostic. Say neither deny or believe in a higher power. Some people are atheist. They do not believe there is a God at all. It is interesting that there has been a scientific study in which where they had people think about God and the people that believed in God ,activated a part of the frontal lobe that otherwise is never activated. The agnostics activated it a little bit but not as much as the Believers. Atheist ,when their brain was studied thinking about God, the frontal lobe did not activate at all. I find this very interesting. However, when it comes down to it all I care is if you’re a good person or a bad person. Isn’t that what matters?

2. The second question is how we got here and why we are here? This of course involves creationism. Were we created by a higher power? Where we created by Nature? Personally for me, I see no difference in God or nature, so I believe in evolution and that God created Evolution. however, if you believe it’s just a coincidence we are here and the Big Bang is nothing more than a coincidence then that is ok to. All that matters is that you are a good person or a bad person. Isn’t that all that matters? And as far as why we are here. No one knows. Perhaps we are here just out of a coincidence. Perhaps we are here to learn something and come back in another life to learn again. Perhaps we are here to better the world. Perhaps we are to be evil and , perhaps we are here to make Humanity better. Either way, isn’t all that matters whether you’re a good or a bad person?

3. Question 3. What happens to us after we die. Some of us believe we go to heaven. Some of us believe we are energy. and we will return our energy into something else that will grow from the soil from our ashes as we decay. Whatever you believe, isn’t all that matters that you’re either a good person or a bad person in this life?

My point being that it doesn’t matter. We will always be thinking of these three questions. That is what makes us human. Our curiosity. And it is also our curiosity that has made us so great. It is the evil in the world that we have to watch out for. That we have to protect each other from. All of the other $0.09 of these three questions don’t matter in life. So stop worrying about them so much. What matters in life is to pass it on. To help each other. To remember we are all sisters and brothers. Humanity does not have a color. Humanity does not have a religion. Be kind to each other and learn to live in peace and harmony. No matter what someone believes, remember they are part of your Human family. Stop worrying about these three questions. We will all get the answer soon enough; when we are ashes to ashes, dust to Stardust.
