Lucky for me ,I came out clean she got HIV and died

In today’s world ,and governments nothing more could go asunder, we are divided and we are not free. Not you and not me.

When I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis I was beyond pissed.

Out of anger ,4 over a decade I lost out on Great Adventures,. family moments I missed

Of All of the characters I have the greatest connection to Lieutenant Dan..

Lost his legs like me. Got pissed like me. Wished for death. But life has a plan.

Like me ,he finds peace. And a miracle happens and he gets his magic legs made of titanium.

I will soon have my magic legs. No, they are not nuclear, or made of uranium.

Years I have lived lonely ,paralyzed ,wheelchair-bound ,with only poetry  to write, I worry no one will read.

Just like Gump says ,”miracles do happen everyday “and stem cells have planted a seed.

Now all I have to do is sit and wait. I’ve spent six years doing nothing with no problems but now every second that goes by I hate.

As Forrest Gump says,” I don’t know if there is a thing called fate.”

All I know is when you are down and feeling like a grump

You can always put on the movie Forrest Gump.

“maybe there is no fate. Maybe we are just floating around like the breeze. Or maybe it’s both.” At  The end Gump said.
