The Bible is not meant to take every word literally. Imagine how crazy the world would be if we did? For example it is written that if man lieth with mankind the way he lie with women then he is committing Abomination. This is so not true. At the time that this book was written the world was not overpopulated. It simply means that the Bible wants you to be fruitful and multiply so you can spread the word to young children. That is all it is simply a metaphor. Another great example that I love is it is written that if a Man Lies with a woman while she has her Menses the man will go to hell. This is so not true it is a metaphor or. It simply means for 7 days out of the month you should probably leave your woman alone. She is going through a rough time and just needs to be left alone. And in no way should be taken literally. Fundamentalism is just crazy to me. I will never understand it. I think the Bible is one of the greatest pieces of literature ever written because the entire thing is basically a metaphor. It is a beautiful book. But it is just a book. People who take it literally are destined for bad things to happen. Just look at all those poor young men that are willing to commit suicide to get virgins in heaven and all this craziness. But you know this man that teach these young man to commit suicide never do it themselves. They teach fundamentalism but they do not practice what they preach. Fundamentalism is never a good thing. This goes for other things besides for the Bible. In the meantime take care of each other. We are all brothers and sisters no matter what religion you choose. Just don’t be fundamentalist over anything. Have your own thoughts. Have your own beliefs nice. As long as you live by the Golden Rule. And you never hurt another human being. You are on the right path my friends. Love to you all. And just for today and everyday remember not to take everything so literally. Even the words I write. Have your own opinions. Just do not hurt another person.
